This Privacy Policy describes how Calltica ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Calltica mobile application ("Calltica Pro" on Google Play, "Calltica Pro Plus" on our website) and the Calltica web dashboard (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide
Account information: name, email address, phone number, and company name when you register or sign in.
Contact and lead data: names, phone numbers, email addresses, and notes you upload (via CSV) or enter to manage your sales contacts.
Call disposition data: notes, outcomes, and timestamps you record after each call.
1.2 Information Collected Automatically
Call duration: when you place a call from within the app, we record the start time and end time of the call so you can review call activity. We do not record the audio content of any call.
Device information: device model, operating system version, and app version, used solely for crash reporting and to support troubleshooting.
Authentication tokens: required to keep you signed in securely.
1.3 Information from Google Services
If you connect your Google account, we receive your Google email address and (with your explicit permission) read/write access to a single folder named "Calltica_Database" in your Google Drive, which the app uses to back up and sync your contact lists. We do not access any other folder or file in your Google Drive.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Provide and maintain the Service.
Authenticate you and protect your account.
Sync your contacts and call data across your devices.
Process subscription payments through Google Play Billing.
Respond to support requests and notify you of material changes to the Service or this policy.
Detect and prevent fraud or abuse of the Service.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising.
3. How We Share Your Information
We share information only with the following service providers, strictly to operate the Service:
Firebase (Google LLC) — authentication, cloud database (Firestore), and crash reporting. Data is stored in Google's secure infrastructure.
Google Drive (Google LLC) — storage of your contact data backups in the Calltica_Database folder you authorize.
Google Play Billing (Google LLC) — processing of subscription payments for the Play Store version. We never see or store your payment card details.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to comply with a valid legal request, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Calltica, our users, or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
5. Data Deletion
You may delete your account and all associated personal data at any time by emailing calltica.team@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion request" from the email address registered to your account. We will confirm deletion within 30 days.
6. Security
We use industry-standard security measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest, to protect your information. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security but we work to protect your data using reasonable safeguards.
7. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact us and we will take steps to delete that information.
8. International Users
Calltica is operated from India. If you access the Service from outside India, please be aware that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in India and in Google's data centers. By using the Service you consent to this transfer.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU/EEA, UK, India, or Southeast Asian countries), you may have the right to:
Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate personal data.
Request deletion of your personal data.
Object to or restrict certain processing.
Withdraw consent for processing based on consent.
Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10. Permissions Used by the App
The Calltica mobile app requests the following Android permissions:
CALL_PHONE — to dial a phone number directly when you tap a contact inside the app or when you trigger a call from the paired web dashboard. Every call is initiated by you.
Internet — to communicate with Firebase and Google Drive.
The "Calltica Pro Plus" version distributed via our website additionally requests READ_PHONE_STATE, READ_CALL_LOG, ANSWER_PHONE_CALLS, and a foreground service permission, used solely to (a) record exact connected call duration for your sales reports, (b) end an active call when you trigger a hangup from the web dashboard, and (c) keep the call-monitoring listener active during a call. These permissions are not requested by the Play Store version.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be notified via the app or by email.
